Minimum qualifications: For full time undergraduate students in good standing. Scholarship recipients may receive the scholarship for up to 4 subsequent years (5 years total) as long as they continue to meet the criteria.

Enrollment requirement: Full time enrollment (12+ Undergraduate units )

GPA requirement: >=3.0
Preference given to:
- Highest reviewer scores*
- Incoming freshmen with a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 at time of admission and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
- Are first generation college students
- Have demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA or Dream Act
- Have learning disabilities and/or cognitive challenges
- Demonstrate ability to overcome personal and/or academic struggles
- Have not been awarded any other scholarships (at time of selection)
*Applications are reviewed by a committee and scored based on answers provided by the applicant. Each answer is reviewed for:
- relevance to the question
- spelling, grammar, and college level writing
- creativity
