Preference given to:

1. Student with a family: a spouse with children, a domestic partner with children, or a single parent.
2. Have not been awarded any other scholarships (at time of selection)
3. Highest reviewer scores*
4. Have completed the FAFSA

*Applications are reviewed by a committee and scored based on answers provided by the applicant. Each answer is reviewed for:

• relevance to the question
• spelling, grammar, and college level writing
• creativity

Scholarship winners will be notified by email no later than September 1.
