Minimum qualifications: Available to newly admitted, incoming transfer students from a California Community College who demonstrate financial need, academic promise and have a commitment to obtain their Bachelor degree. Full-time students and part-time students are eligible for this scholarship. Students must complete the Intent to Enroll process on NextSteps by May 1st.

1. Have not been awarded any other scholarships (at time of selection)
2. Expected Family Contribution (as determined by FAFSA): $0 – $10000
3. Awards spread evenly (as close as possible) across colleges
4. Participation in extracurricular activities
5. Highest reviewer scores*

*Applications are reviewed by a committee and scored based on answers provided by the applicant. Each answer is reviewed for:

• relevance to the question
• spelling, grammar, and college level writing
• creativity

Scholarship winners will be notified by email no later than September 1.
