Civil and Environmental Engineering Scholarships

Each year, the Civil and Environmental Department offers scholarships to students majoring in the CEE Department. You will be considered for each of the scholarships listed below after completing this single application. A student may only be awarded a single scholarship. The CEE scholarships are awarded in spring semester for the following academic year, so awardees must be matriculated at SJSU during the following fall term to be eligible.

• ACEC/Steven A. Arnold Memorial Scholarship Endowment Distribution: To provide scholarships for undergraduate students majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Applicants must be enrolled full-time as a sophomore or higher, and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

• APWA Civil Engineering Scholarship Endowment Distribution: To provide scholarships for undergraduate students majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Applicants must be enrolled full-time as a sophomore or higher, and have a minimum GPA of 2.6.

• Civil Engineering General Scholarship: To provide scholarships for Civil Engineering students.

• Civil & Environmental Engineering Scholarship Account: To provide scholarship support for students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

• George M. Sicular Scholarship: To provide scholarship support for students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

• Lloyd Bisballe Construction Scholarship Endowment: Applicants must be enrolled full time in the Civil & Engineeering Department, be in good academic standing and have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry.

• John B Tang Scholarship: To provide 2 students majoring in Civil Engineering and with demonstrated financial need with an annual scholarship of $2,500.

• Robert Griffith Scholarship: For Civil Engineering students with demonstrated financial need.
