SUPPORTING OUR HEROES SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Please consider the following eligibility criteria before applying for our scholarship:

Applicants must plan to pursue a career in advocating on behalf of veterans.
Applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (including law school) within the United States.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
To complete the application, please submit an essay of no more than 500 words answering the following questions:

How can individuals and communities contribute to the well-being of veterans? How do you see yourself contributing to the betterment of veterans’ lives in the future?

Attorney Farmer would also like students to provide proof of enrollment at a college or university for the Fall 2024 semester. This may include a class schedule, tuition bill, or admission letter. The application form can be found toward the bottom of this page.

EVALUATION CRITERIAA qualified scholarship candidate must meet all eligibility requirements listed above.awardOur award will be granted to a student whose essay is thoughtful and well-constructed and clearly articulates to the reader their plan on how they will wield their education to benefit and advocate for veterans. The essay should provide powerful evidence of the student’s devotion to advocacy for veterans.
