Go City Education Scholarship

So, what’s the scholarship?
The winner of the Go City Education Scholarship will receive:

A 6-pass allowance* for you (plus your friends and family) to check out your favourite city’s best attractions and experiences. Choose your favourite city on our website.
A one-time award of $4,000 to put towards books, expenses and any other study necessities. The winner will have the funds transferred directly to their account. 
*Mix and match 6 of the following pass types:

The 2-day All-Inclusive Pass (with this pass you can visit as many attractions as you wish over two days).
The 3-choice Explorer Pass (with this pass you can choose three attractions to visit, and you’ll have 60 days to visit them!).

What are the eligibility requirements?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must be enrolled at a UK or US university, and either be a citizen, permanent resident or currently studying in the UK or in the US on a student visa. Only one submission per person will be accepted.

When’s the deadline?
The deadline for this competition is Friday 9th November 2024 at 11.59pm (GMT). Any submissions made after this deadline will not be considered. The winner will be announced on the website by November 22nd 2024.

The competition will run from 12:00 (GMT) on 1st August 2024 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59 (GMT) on 9th November 2024 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.

Before applying, read the instructions and eligibility requirements on this page carefully.

Pick one of our destinations and tell us the attraction(s) that you think we should add to our passes and why, using no more than 280 characters (the length of a Tweet). Basically, what other great attractions do you think we should add?

Email your entry to us at scholarships@gocity.com

Provide your full name and preferred contact email address and the name of the desired new attraction. If you prefer not to be contacted about future promotional activity let us know if you need to opt out of these.

The winner will be determined by an applicant’s eligibility under the scholarship requirements and the strength of an applicant’s entry as determined by the selection committee.

Go City reserves the right to use the name of the winner to feature on our website and social media accounts. Please refer to our full privacy policy here.

Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of Go City and no scholarships or passes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any participant.

Previous competition winners
The winner of the 2023 UK Go City Education Scholarship is… Khushi Runwal for her fantastic entry on the attractions of Dubai. Khushi will now receive her 10 Go City passes and cash prize.

The winning entry for the U.S. Summer 2022 University scholarship programme has now been decided and the scholarship award goes to Oumi Sowe who is studying at New York University. Congratulations to Oumi on a winning 100 word entry!
