During her last weeks with us physically, many of us will never forget her telling us that although her body was tired. she herself- was not. This was a testament of her strong spirit and courageous journey with this unfortunate disease.

Modesta’: ability to keep faith and hope alive was an inspiration that provided strength. support. and love to so many. In her honor. we are introducing a scholarship that will be available to students who demonstrate a commitment towards raising awareness about cancer. while persevering through challenges with a continued sense of hope.
