The Law Offices of Randolph Rice College Scholarship

Here at the Law Offices of Randolph Rice, we understand that the leaders of tomorrow are working and often sacrificing to receive an education today. We are aware that the high cost of college tuition and other educational expenses often impose a significant financial strain on many students and their families. This is why, in 2016, the Law Offices of Randolph Rice launched its annual college scholarship essay contest. The purpose is to award a one-time $1,500 scholarship to apply toward college costs and help a deserving student realize his or her potential.

In order to be eligible to participate in the contest, applicants must be a current or prospective college or law student for Fall of 2020. This includes rising sophomores, juniors or seniors who are enrolled at two or four-year institutions of higher learning, or a high school senior who has committed to attend an accredited U.S. college or university in the fall. Applicants must also comply with all requirements set forth above.

Once the application period has ended, our scholarship committee will review the infographics and choose a winner by May 15, 2020. The winner will be chosen considering the following factors:

  • Originality;
  • Creativity; and
  • Proper use of sources
