The Clunker Junker Cash for College Scholarship

The Clunker Junker is famous for offering cash for your cars, but we are now proud to offer cash for your college, too! We are offering a $1,000 scholarship for girls who are interested in careers in automotive technology (mechanics, auto body, engineers, etc).

This scholarship is open to all college aged females who are pursuing a degree or certification in an automotive technology field such as engineering, mechanics, design, or auto body at an accredited college or technical school in the Fall of 2018.

Our founder Valerie has been a car fanatic since she was a little girl. She has always loved learning about, modifying, and maintaining her own cars. She changes her own oil, does brake jobs, installs performance parts and more; and she does it as well as any of the guys!. Unfortunately, girls are often told they are not supposed to play with cars and are often looked down upon in the automotive community. The Clunker Junker wants to help young girls who are interested in cars and want to pursue a career in automotive technology.
